= CFD Lab related information =
The lab space needs to be redesigned.  As of Feb. 2007 we are planning on revamping the lab. We will add more information here as time passes.

== Planning ==
We need to accommodate the following number of students.

 * B.Tech. + DDP: 16 (65/4 = (total number of UGs per year/ number of specializations)) x 1 (year for project)
 * M.Tech. : 13 (50/4) x 2
 * Ph.D.: 4 (15/4 per year) x 1 year (senior PhD's will have their own research scholar area eventually).
This means we need 46 (16+26+4) seats per year.  Assuming a factor of 2 in usage we need at least 25 seats for students to sit. We plan to make arrangements in the design of the lab space to accommodate 25 people.
