Subsystems within a Satellite

Once the project has kick-started, it is time to organize and systematize work. For this purpose the team is split into various subsystems. Typically 5 subsystems are essential for obtaining a working satellite:

• Payload Subsystem
• Mechanical Subsystem
• Electrical Subsystem
• Attitude Determination and Control Subsystem
• Communications Subsystem
