POLICIES
BEFORE A CAT II APPROACH IS COMMENCED , THE COMMANDER MUST ENSURE THE FOLLOWING :
The commander and first officer are qualified and certified by Airline and by DGCA.
Both commander and first officer are recent in CAT II/III operations.
Aircraft is recent i.e. it has done an autoland in the last 30 days.
Airborne equipment pertaining to CAT II/III operations is fully serviceable.
Airport of intended landing has CAT II/III facilities are fully serviceable and LVP are in use.
ATC has authorised the approach to CAT II/III minima.
