3D Hover
3D Hover refers to the ability of a drone or aerial vehicle to maintain a stable position in space. Attitude control is very important for full control over movement along all three translational axes (x, y, z). This setup allows to implement linear and non-linear attitude controller which can be used for precise maneuvering in any direction, allowing the drone to move forward, backward, sideways, up, and down. It is also possible to inject disturbances and validate the efficacy of the controller. This capability is essential in applications such as aerial photography, inspection, robotics research, and defense, where stability and agility are crucial.
