MTP/DDP/BTP/SLP/Seminar Registration Guidelines

To the students:

1. As per the department rules, students registering for a PG Mini project/Ph.D credit Seminar (for Ist year Ph.D students)/M.Tech credit seminar (Ist year students) and MTP/DDP/BTP and/or SLP must have a faculty member from the aerospace engineering department as an internal advisor in order for the project grade to be accepted by the department.

2. The student should identify the faculty member whose research interests or speciality are most relevant to the topic of the PG Mini project/Ph.D credit Seminar (for Ist year Ph.D students)/M.Tech credit seminar (Ist year students) and MTP/DDP/BTP and/or SLP. In case such a faculty member is unavailable, then the designated undergraduate faculty advisor may assume the role of the internal advisor, with the justification duly noted.

3. The students should submit the registration form for 'PG Mini project/Ph.D credit Seminar (for Ist year Ph.D students)/M.Tech credit seminar (Ist year students) and MTP /DDP/BTP and/or SLP registration form/forms' to the Aerospace Engineering Department office, which has the name of the internal advisor from the Aerospace Engineering Department (with his/her formal signed approval). This has to be done on or before the last date before the courses can be dropped without getting a 'W' grade i.e., 18.01.2024 (Thursday) for On roll UG/ PG students & PG New Entrants as per the academic calendar 2023-24.

Note: Please take these deadlines very seriously as after this, the respective registration forms will not be accepted and an ‘II’ grade would be forwarded to the academic office.
