R&D Areas/Projects:

My research touches on several related topics of fluid dynamics: reduced-order modeling of flows, aeroacoustics, hydrodynamic stability theory and feedback flow control.

The main application of these tools has been to high-speed jets - both for noise mitigation and mixing enhancement. Another application has been airfoil separation control.

Recent advances in experimental techniques and computational simulations generate enormous datasets, and I am interested in analyzing them to reveal the flow physics buried within.
